Grow-Giving Principle 2
Yesterday we talked about the law of value, how “your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.”
This does not mean go work for free.
It is showing the quality of your solution. Every good or service you sell, is a solution to someone’s problem. The quality might determine the level of payment, but let’s look at the next law.
Grow-Giving Principle 2
The law of compensation
The law of compensation states, “Your income is determined by how many people you serve and how well you serve them.”
So putting the 2 together, because they go hand in hand, if you have great value, and serve a great number of people, then your pay will be great. In the book she said, “Your compensation is directly proportional to how many lives you touch.”
People who touch millions of lives, usually will be the ones who are making millions of dollars.
Movie stars, athletes, etc., may not influence you greatly, but the compound effect is the strategy of reaping huge rewards from small, seemingly insignificant actions. So collectively the things they do is worth a little bit to a lot of people. $1 profit spread over a million people is a million dollar profit.
And get this, the higher the quality of the giving of your dedication to your solution, the more people will be willing to compensate for it. The more people you touch, the more the compound effect can come into play.
So today, let’s increase our value, and increase in our effort to touch lives. Look for the opportunities to do this throughout the day!
