Reprogramming Yourself
Saturday May 15, 2021
Saturday May 15, 2021
“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
Romans 12:2 NIV
This week we start off with two similar re-adjustments, but they are different. The twins are Reprogramming the brain and Rewiring the brain. Sound basically the same but the difference is Reprogramming is the new track you set your brain on, and Rewiring is how you set out to do it. Reprogramming requires you to input a new course from where you were headed, to a new destination. It is the mindset that will change the trajectory.
To reprogram you have to have a new program in place and start to rewire your thinking to keep you from going back.

Release Yourself
Wednesday May 12, 2021
Wednesday May 12, 2021
Ever made a bad decision? Even though you see the damage and tried to correct it, guilt can bind our mindsets to the past. When we are stuck in the past, we can’t function in the present, which dims a bright future for us.
Have you forgiven yourself? We seek forgiveness from God, which he grants without a doubt.
We seek forgiveness from others when we try to make things right, and the relationship is back on…
But do we forgive ourselves? We may try, but the accuser comes to remind us of what happened, how it happened, and every little detail when we are weak. Instant reminders suck us back into the past and if we’re not careful, we end up stuck there.
Good news. If you’ve moved on then your done. Released. Carry the pardoning papers with you, so if you do find yourself in a flashback you have the power to say, “yes. It happened, and all parties learned and moved on.” In your heart forgive yourself and let your light shine.
“As water reflects the face, so one’s life reflects the heart.”
Proverbs 27:19 NIV

Re-Claim Your Time
Wednesday May 05, 2021
Wednesday May 05, 2021
It’s easy to find your self in a place to where you blink and time is gone. The kids i use to change diapers are now leaving home, and before I knew it, they’re adulting.
We have to be able to reclaim the time lost. Know that you don’t get back the time lost, no, that’s in the past. But you can better manage the time you have left to make up for the lost time, and set up a good future for the time you are going to spend.
Mix one part ichigo ichie, one decision to do what you’ve been called to do, and two parts planning: God’s wants and yours.
Stir. Enjoy the time you have.
“Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.”
Ephesians 5:15-17 NIV

Re-Think Your Position
Tuesday May 04, 2021
Tuesday May 04, 2021
We have all been placed where we are for a reason. This is our ikigai, live the life we live in a way that satisfies us and our purpose. Today I’d like to think or Re-think our position. You are a very important piece to the puzzle of so many people’s lives. They may not know it, even you may not realize it, but your existence in the spot you’re in maintains the balance of the force… (Happy Star Wars day)
Take note of your position. Look over how life works with you in it.
Yes, life could be much smoother if everyone did their part, or did what they say, or did not hand over the problems they have created just for you to fix… but actually look at the situations and relationships. Can you see why God has placed you there? You may be there to shine light there. To lighten the load. Having you placed there is really God’s presence there because He was the one who orchestrated the whole thing. We complain, but when we re-think our position, we know that we are blessed to be blessings in the places we’ve been placed in.

Re-Energize Yourself
There are so many things out now, with multiple new things coming out for you to try daily! But so many choices and so many things pulling you in all directions can cause a drain in energy.
Are you functioning out of the overflow? When we give so much of ourselves, it will also drain us of our energy. If we are not giving from the overflow, we are probably giving from the main tank.
When I look open any of my social media apps I get bombarded with so many different opinions, politics, bad news, help me, and buy this from me’s… that it can be overwhelming at times.
We need a place or a way to Re-energize.
The Bible app helps, setting limits on the social intake helps, one of my favorite resources has to be my moai. Thanks to all my fiends and family who continually pray for me, strengthen me when I start to drain.

Re-Check Yourself

Re-check yourself:
#Unblockyourself is about getting out of your own way in your mind, body, spirit, finances, and social interactions. Re-centering is aligning yourself to the will of God in your life, and Re-focusing is choosing to stay on that positive path. Today we Re-check ourselves to make sure we are flowing in the now in the five areas.
Re-checking is making sure that you are present in mind, body, spirit… etc. Power to change situations Is held in the present. The past is already gone, and the future is a prediction that has not happened yet. To make change happen, it must be done in the present. Daily checks can help you be in the present so you can adapt and adjust to what is happening now. Any other state will not allow you to correct things in your favor.
Every new day is an opportunity for us to reach new heights and new levels! But remember also every level up requires you to shift gears. Let’s make the “Re” adjustments to live out our ikigai!

Refocus Yourself

Refocus -
I was reading my devotion this morning, it started like this:
“From the very moment we wake up thoughts begin to fill our mind and they form the attitude and altitude of our day. We have the opportunity and responsibility to choose the direction of our thoughts. Today choose to replace those thoughts of worry, anxiety and negativity with the truth of God’s word.”
We need to Re-Center, and Re-focus.
The difference is centering aligns you in the will. Focusing is choosing to keep positive.
For example, not everyone is against you. Though at times it may seem this way, but take a closer look. Sometimes, your thoughts on the way things should be and the things you want to do haven’t made enough impact on someone else enough for them to care. So if they’re putting themselves first over you might mean to that what they want is important. Can you blame them?
